Dr. Fabrianne Cohen was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where she achieved her dental degree at the Central University of Venezuela in 2000. Afterward, she accomplished an internship for four years at the Santa Rosa Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center in Caracas. In 2007, Dr. Cohen completed her postdoctoral program in Oral Surgery with honors at the Central University of Venezuela.

She worked in private practice for 4 years at the Santa Rosa Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center in Caracas and then moved to Florida where she decided to expand her surgical horizons and completed 3 years of advanced training in periodontics and implant dentistry. She received her certificate in Periodontics from Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Dr. Cohen has authored and co-authored a number of articles and book chapters on topics including alveolar reconstruction and distraction osteogenesis. She is member of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), and a member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP).

Dr. Cohen is an adjunct clinical professor in the department of Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University.

Her special areas of interest and treatment include minimally invasive soft tissue grafting techniques for teeth and implants, immediate implant placement, bone tissue regeneration, periodontal-orthodontic accelerating procedures and periodontal plastic surgery.
